Orthopedics and Traumatology

The Orthopedics and Traumatology Department is a field of medicine that examines congenital and acquired diseases of the musculoskeletal system. It works in collaboration with all departments within our hospital, utilizing advanced technological equipment for diagnosis and planning and implementing the most suitable medical and surgical treatments for patients at a scientific level. Patients are provided with detailed information about their treatment plans by our expert doctors. Orthopedics and Traumatology is one of the fastest developing, changing, and expanding fields, driven by technology and scientific advancements.

In our healthcare centers in partnership with GoHealthCyprus, we provide services with advanced technology-equipped diagnostic and treatment units and a multidisciplinary treatment approach.

Trauma often surprises us and can result from factors such as falls, sports injuries, workplace accidents, or traffic accidents. The extent of damage can vary from simple soft tissue injuries to complex bone fractures, depending on the severity of the trauma. Treating a severely traumatized patient requires good equipment, serious organization, and teamwork. Since it is impossible to predict when a trauma patient will arrive, a trauma center must always be prepared.

Approaches and surgical methods for treating fractures are continuously evolving. In line with technological advancements, better, more modern, and less invasive treatment methods and tools are constantly being developed. The goal is to return the patient to their daily life as quickly and smoothly as possible.
